What do you love most about your work?
Witnessing the growth and development of individuals under my guidance. Being able to contribute to their success is incredibly fulfilling and motivates me to adapt methods to meet the unique needs of each individual.
What are you an expert in?
I have extensive expertise in residential mortgage lending, having worked in this industry for 21 years. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in almost all functions of the mortgage process.
What’s the last series you binge-watched?
“Special Ops: Lioness.”
If you could choose one superhuman ability, what would it be?
It would definitely be teleportation. Just imagine, no more long flights or traffic jams. I could instantly zap myself from one place to another and have so much more time for important things.
What characteristic do you most admire in others and why?
One of the characteristics that I admire in others is humility. Humility is a quality that allows individuals to acknowledge their strengths and accomplishments, while also recognizing the value and worth of others. It fosters a sense of openness, empathy, and willingness to learn from different perspectives. Humble individuals are not driven by ego or the need for recognition; instead, they focus on collaboration and supporting those around them. I find this characteristic inspiring because it promotes harmony, growth, and a genuine connection with others.
What are you grateful for?
I am most grateful for my husband Eric, my daughter Isabel, and my son Aidan.
What is your leadership style?
I believe that leadership means being in service to those one is charged to lead. One of the most important aspects of leadership, in my opinion, is not simply teaching others how to do tasks, but helping them understand the reasons and methods behind what they do, and equipping them with the tools to find answers.
What is the most important part of your work?
I believe that one of the most important aspects of my job is fostering strong relationships between Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriters, Closers and the Post-Closing Team members. Effective collaboration and communication are essential for ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination. By fostering these relationships, we can create a supportive environment that promotes teamwork, enhances productivity, and ultimately leads to successful outcomes.
