What is one word you would use to describe yourself and why?
Wise. No pun intended. I am very thoughtful, observant and usually the friend you will ask for advice. I'm not sure I even know many of the answers, however, I usually have some wisdom to share to help find the solution or help get to the next step.
What do you do for fun or to recharge?
My husband and I love to attend concerts. We aren't always picky on the band or even the music genre. Good, live music is always fun!
What is your favorite app and why?
eMeals is a lifesaver for our busy family.
How are you most likely to spend a weekend?
You are guaranteed to find me at a ballfield. I love watching sports and have two kids playing at all times.
What does a day in the life look like for you?
Meetings and property showings fill my days and keep me out of the office a majority of the time. My work days are very fast-paced requiring me to constantly adapt to my current meeting topic. Most days I am catching up on email communications in the early morning and do my best to wrap up my day by 5PM so that I can be home for my family. A lot of my work can be done by the phone, so staying mobile most of the day and keeping up with my work is tough, but possible.
What do you love most about your work?
I love working with people. I love the small business owners looking for their first location, investors looking to expand their profile into commercial real estate, and large corporate companies growing in Wichita and proudly calling Wichita their "home". I am a entrepreneur working to help other entrepreneurs in my city. I love that!
What do you think the secret to a good life is?
Be joyful! The deep in your soul kind of joyful. The long-term emotion of joy that is not affected by everyday nuances or life struggles. Joy that is so strong that no one can take it away from you.
What characteristic do you most admire in others and why?
Humility. It is the opposite of pride and often times can reveal your own limitations or shortfalls. Humble people show openness and a willingness to learn from others in whatever situation they are in.
